Jak w temacie mam zainstalowane dwa dyski twarde, s± podpiête do jednej ta¶my. System Ola jest na dysku Master i tu jest GRUB. Na dysku Slave jest zainstalowane Windows XP i z tym jest problem gdy za³adujê Windowsa za po¶rednictwem Gruba. Windows siê ³aduje prawid³owo i uruchamia bez problemu. Potem przez kilkana¶cie minut mo¿na pracowaæ normalnie, nastêpnie co¶ siê dzieje z dyskiem Master, s³ychaæ to gdy¿ ten dysk jest wyra¼nie s³yszalny w trakcie pracy. Po krótkiej chwili XP siê wiesza i nie mo¿na nic zrobiæ i trzeba resetowaæ ca³y komputer. Nie jest to problem z Windowsem gdy¿ od³±czaj±c dysku Master na którym jest Grub z Ol± i startuj±c tylko z dyskiem Slave gdzie nie ma Gruba Windows siê nie wiesza i mo¿na pracowaæ godzinami. System Ola pracuje dobrze niezale¿nie od i ilo¶ci pod³±czonych dysków. Dysk Master podzielony jest na dwie partycje, jedn± systemow± ext3 z Ol± której nie widzi Windows oraz drug± z systemem plików FAT32 któr± oczywi¶cie widaæ z XP-eka o ile Windows startuje z Gruba. Pocz±tkowo nie mog³em skojarzyæ awarii Windowsa z Grubem czy ogólnie obecno¶ci± pod³±czonych dwóch dysków i zrobi³em format partycji NTFS instaluj±c XP od nowa z od³±czonym dostêpem do internetu. Nic to nie zmieni³o i chc±c co¶ d³u¿ej zrobiæ spod Windowsa muszê fizycznie od³±czaæ dysk z Ol± i nie mam wtedy dostêpu do partycji FAT32 zamontowanej na tym samym dysku. Czy da siê co¶ z tym zrobiæ?
Dyski s± ró¿nych producentów oba po 40 GB. Niestety nie da siê uruchomiæ niektórych programów Windowsowskich spod Oli i muszê si³± rzeczy mieæ Windows i uruchamiaæ ten system a nie chcê zmieniaæ dotychczasowej konfiguracji.

Nie mam w menu KDE/narzêdzia/Kwrite tylko KDE/narzêdzia/kate, co prawda te¿ jest zaawansowanym edytorem tekstu ale nie ma u góry menu plik. Jako zwyk³y user nie mam dostêpu do tego pliku. Nie wiem jak siê zalogowaæ jako root bo zarówno w Kwrite jak i Kate nie mam dostêpu do pliku /var/log/kern. Kwrite mogê uruchomiæ tylko z opcji "wykonaj polecenie" ale tylko jako zwyk³y user, "uruchom jako root" w tym przypadku nie dzia³a. Z opcji "wykonaj polecenie" jako root wy¶wietla siê okienko z kate ale to te¿ nie dzia³a z prawokliku wiêc nie wiem co jest w tym pliku kern.log. Zalogowanie siê jako root jak wyczyta³em na ró¿nych forach jest wysoce niezalecane a jak na razie nie mam pojêcia jak to zrobiæ. Plik kern.log ma w symbolu k³ódkê.
Zmienia³em miejsca dysku na jednej ta¶mie i nic to nie da³o. Mama dwa gniazda IDEA i w drugi jest tylko nagrywarka ale ma dziwn± ta¶mê tylko dwa z³±cza wiêc muszê siê pofatygowaæ i kupiæ inn± ta¶mê na dwa dyski. Jak pisa³em jak siê Ola uruchomi z dwoma dyskami nie ma problemu, jest tylko w po uruchomieniu XP poprzez GRUB. Móg³bym zworkami zmieniæ dyski i ten Windowsowski zrobiæ master ale tam nie ma GRUBa i z pewno¶ci± uruchomi siê od razu XP. Ju¿ to przerabia³em a klawisz F8 nic nie daje bo XP nie widzi partycji z Linuxem i w menu uruchamiania jest tylko Windows XP. Nie wiem czy mam instalowaæ GRUBa na dysku z Windowsem i ewentualnie jak je¶li to jaka¶ nietypowa instalacja. Po za tym co wtedy zrobiæ z tym GRUBem co jest teraz zainstalowane na dysku z Ol±? Czy mam to odinstalowaæ? Przewa¿nie pracujê z Ol± i to mi jest wygodniej, ¿e ten dysk jest master ale jak bêdzie trzeba co¶ zmieniæ by to dzia³a³o w obie strony z dwoma dyskami to nie ma problemu.
Tak nawiasem jak d³oni widaæ, ¿e Urz±d Antymonopolowy ma co robiæ. Produkty Microsoftu "zza grobu" têpi± konkurencjê jak siê da. Có¿ czasami du¿y mo¿e wiêcej.

Przecie¿ Windows jest na partycji C a z drugiego dysku widzi tylko jedn± partycjê FAT32 bo nie mam w XP zainstalowanego programu do obs³ugi partycji ext3 by Windows czego¶ mi nie namiesza³. P³yta g³ówna wydaje siê byæ sprawna, nie ma z ni± ¿adnych problemów jak i z BIOSem. Nie wiem czy ma to zwi±zek z wad± dysku ale Ola pracuje dobrze niezale¿nie od pod³±czenia drugiego dysku a Windows ju¿ nie. Czy GRUB mo¿e co¶ "mieszaæ"? Z dwoma dyskami XP siê wiesza niezale¿nie od tego czy odwiedzam tê dodatkow± partycjê FAT32 z drugiego dysku czy te¿ w ogóle siê tam nie logujê. Reinstalacja XP odby³a siê z pod³±czonym tylko jednym dyskiem i potem po pod³±czeniu drugiego dysku mechanizm PnP wykry³ go i by³o dobrze przez nieca³e pó³ godziny.

Nie mam w menu KDE/narzêdzia/Kwrite tylko KDE/narzêdzia/kate, co prawda te¿ jest zaawansowanym edytorem tekstu ale nie ma u góry menu plik.

Poprawi³em opis, tak by mówi³ o Kate. Nie rozumiem, jak w Kate mo¿e nie byæ menu Plik? Proszê zrobiæ zrzut ekranu.

Proszê na razie nic nie zmieniaæ w konfiguracji dysków, tylko zamie¶ciæ plik /var/log/kern.log.
Jako ca³o¶æ zawarto¶æ pliku kern.log siê nie mie¶ci jako jeden post wiêc pójdzie jako kilka.
